Kussy Gonzalez is an Afro-Latina author born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Bay Ridge Brooklyn, NY. Holding a Master’s in Software Engineering and an MBA, she’s a manager at a Big Tech company, but dreams of quitting her job to write all day.

In the meantime, she lives with her husband, Jamie, and their two children Samara, and Harrison. She enjoys gaming, gardening, and writing.

 

I’ve been obsessed with writing since childhood, filling up notebook after notebook like Harriet the Spy. Writing is the one constant in my life. When I’m not writing, I’m thinking about writing. If someone else enjoys it, it’s a plus. Publishing has been a lifelong goal I’ve put off time and time again. Chasms Between Us is the first body of work I’ve managed to finish, but it’s absolutely not my first story.
